Materials - Part 3
Types of Recyclable Items - Part 3
1. Electronics
Electronics such as old computers, laptops, phones, and other electronic devices contain valuable materials that can be recycled. Make sure to dispose of them at designated e-waste recycling centers to prevent hazardous materials from ending up in landfills.

2. Plastics
Plastics are one of the most common recyclable items. Check the recycling number on the plastic items to ensure they are accepted by your local recycling program. Items such as water bottles, food containers, and plastic bags can often be recycled.

3. Glass
Glass containers such as bottles and jars are 100% recyclable and can be reused to make new glass products. Remember to separate glass by color (clear, green, brown) to ensure proper recycling.

4. Paper
Paper and cardboard are highly recyclable materials. Items such as newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes, and office paper can all be recycled. Remember to flatten cardboard boxes before recycling.

By recycling these items and more, you can help reduce waste, conserve resources, and protect the environment for future generations.
